My 2015 Wedding Season

Wow – well what a wedding season it has been for 2015, and it’s not quite over…with some Autumn and Winter weddings coming up soon that I am so looking forward to.

This year I have had the pleasure of planning a number of amazing weddings at Walcot Hall in North Lincolnshire, and also providing independent planning services to a number of couples, including the Olympic Gold Medalist Boxer Luke Campbell and his gorgeous now wife Lynsey.

I have also opened my very own wedding venue, Ealand Gate in North Lincolnshire, – a collection of converted barns surrounding a romantic courtyard, set within open countryside.  Just a few months into the opening and I am so pleased that I have already taken bookings for 2016 and 2017, with lots more in the pipeline.

Being a Wedding Planner is such a rewarding job. I get to see two people spend one of the best days of their lives together, surrounded by all their closest family and friends. This is the start of their true journey together as a couple, and much as I’d love to say it will all be plain sailing from here – I would be lying if I said that.  There will be ups and downs, there is in most people’s relationships. A strong marriage is one that can last through the tough times, and the love turns into less of the excited type and more into the solid bond that you have with someone. It is a journey…in a way, a journey of discovery together – both in terms of life experiences you will have together, but the discovery of learning more about the person that you love.  It is great to see such excitement and love on couple’s faces, and actually I always look at the eyes as that’s a sure way of seeing how close a couple really are – the way they look at each other.  When you see that deep love in the eyes you know that the relationship is meant to be and will stand the test of time.

I do wish every single one of my couple’s a beautiful future together…and hope that your love for each other will grow stronger as time passes. May you experience things together that you will cherish in your hearts forever.  Remember to alway take time for each other even when life seems to be far too busy. And listen to each other…especially if you lead quite separate work lives, take the time to talk…but don’t always judge and don’t always offer too much advice to each other…sometimes the other person just wants someone to be there.

Most of all, enjoy each other and your married life together, congratulations again…and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day.

Much love, Julie x
